Elevator Pitch No. 3

Reflection:
I received a lot of important feedback on my last elevator pitch. The recurring feedback was to speak louder and be more enthusiastic. I believe that I was not as loud in the last video due to roommates, but I was happy to fix that in this video as I realized how quiet I truly was. Also, I received feedback to try to put the camera at eye level with me, which I had not thought of. Therefore, I had to get a little innovative as my dorm does not have very many high things to place my camera on. I think that this feedback was most surprising and definitely made my third elevator pitch better.

Completing this third elevator pitch was much easier than the last two. I was much more comfortable in front of the camera and what I was speaking about, so it was much easier for me to focus on projecting my voice and showing excitement throughout the video. I have repeated my pitch so many times I could probably do it in my sleep! I am very happy with my third pitch and I feel that it is definitely better than the first and second. Third time is definitely a charm!!

  1. Hi Haley,
This was a very well polished pitch. I think you have improved very much and are selling your product well. It was apparent that you took the time to take each of the comments you received into consideration. Your pitch was also well organized and the content was well thought out and informative. I think you would make anyone who doesn’t think parking issues are a big deal think twice. Awesome job!

  2. Great job on your elevator pitch. With increased volume you sound more enthusiastic and it can get people more excited about your product, and the product itself is a very good idea as parking is a great problem. I believe that you had good pauses and pace overall which allows the viewer to stay interested and can help them better understand your overall pitch. It's good to hear that you were more comfortable and it shows in your overall diction.

  3. Your elevator pitch was very professional and you've definitely come a long way. I agree with Gabe that you should turn up your volume just to come across as more confident. I've been following your idea and contributing my own advice so it's awesome to see that get incorporated in.
