Throughout my life, I have been exposed to the world of entrepreneurship. Since before I could remember, my mother and her new and creative ideas were a large part of my life. Though she never made her ideas into a business, she sure does implement a sense of entrepreneurship into everything she does, whether she notices it or not. Her determination to always be the best has driven the entrepreneurial view she has on life and has therefore, influenced me to think as she does. In addition, her father, my grandfather, has had a large impact on my entrepreneurship story as he created his own business advisory firm. Though he started his family at a young age, he worked hard to provide for them and eventually started his own business. I am inspired by his passion for his business and his determination to make something happen. His wisdom and inspiration will always have a lasting effect on me and my future. Last, my entrepreneurship story continues with myself. In high school, I had the opportunity to be the founder of a spirit club, called Phoenix Fire. Because my high school was relatively small, there was also relatively little spirit and I found this a problem. Luckily, I had a vision, along with a few others, and one of my teachers agreed to sponsor it. The club took off in my small high school and increased spirit for our several spirit for our several sports teams and led to a greater sense of community within my school. While I have not been entirely surrounded by the stereotypical “own your own business” type of entrepreneurship, I have been surrounded by the philosophy of entrepreneurship and the mindset of entrepreneurs.

Bugs List
- During peak times, it is difficult to find a parking spot at the University of Florida campus and one must circle the parking lot.
Why: The bug exists because there is not a way to let others know where a free parking space is in the lot and therefore, they are forced to drive around the parking lot for sometimes long periods of time to find a parking spot. - When there is an accident on the road, cars stop to see what is going on, creating more traffic.
Why: The natural curiosity that humanity possesses causes to them to want to know exactly what happened. - When attending a concert, everyone is on their phone recording the concert, instead of thoroughly enjoying the moment.
Why: In this day and age, young people feel the need to utilize social media and technology to let others know where they are, what they are doing, and what they are seeing. - After some use, the iPhone charger will inevitably stop working and cause the purchasing of a new charger.
Why: The iPhone charger is not meant to last forever, especially when the phone is being used while it is charging because it gets bent in a way that causes it to get damaged. - Every Sunday, Chick-Fil-A is closed, which is when most people crave it the most.
Why: Chick-Fil-A is closed every Sunday as it follows a traditional work week and expresses that it is a company that exercises Christian values. - When traveling by plane, the lack of personal space and room, creates a lack of comfortability and dislike for transportation.
Why: Airlines ensure that they can fit a certain amount of people and seats on an airplane to meet the demand of those traveling by air. - During the evening, when an individual gets into bed and forgets to turn off the lights.
Why: People are forgetful and lazy. - In this day, people everywhere are participating in the dangerous act of texting while driving, causing them to not have their full attention on the road.
Why: The world is now filled with people who are used to technology and are somewhat obsessed with it. They feel the need to always be staring at a screen and they are used to multitasking. - When people keep their dogs in a kennel while they're not home, causing the dog little ability to move and no access to water.
Why: People tend to keep their dogs in a kennel while they are not home because they want to ensure that their dogs do not cause damage to their personal items or home. - When people are late to a scheduled event or plans, causing others to wait on them.
Why: People are selfish and may not be good at managing their time to ensure that they arrive on time. - When people are finished showering, and leave a wet towel on the floor instead of hanging it up or putting it in the dirty hamper.
Why: Many people, especially young people, tend to leave their wet towels on the floor due to the natural laziness that humanity possesses. - When someone opens the door to enter my room, but does not close the door when they leave, causing me to have to get up and close the door.
Why: Others forget to close the door when leaving a room due to forgetfulness or they do not understand the significance of it being closed all the way. - When people treat waiters and waitresses poorly, and do not express any manners towards them.
Why: This occurs frequently because some are not grateful for the service they are receiving from the waiters/waitresses and decide to take out their impatience and dissatisfaction on those serving them. - When people are trying to get past you and move you without saying excuse me.
Why: People are in a rush and sometimes do not always have the best manners, especially to those they do not know. - When people don't turn off the lights when they leave a room, causing a waste of energy.
Why: People generally do not think much about turning off the lights because they feel it is not important and think they will return to the room. - When professors put exams at night during the week.
Why: Class periods may not be long enough for an exam. In addition, a night time exam can allow more people to be available as there will not be any classes in session at the same time. - It rains too much in Florida.
Why: It rains so much in Florida because of its location and the fact that its so hot it creates unstable air. - When everybody I know goes home for Labor Day weekend and leaves me alone in Gainesville.
Why: They go home because they want to spend time with their families and eat homemade food, instead of food from the dining hall. - When people think they need alcohol to have fun.
Why: At this age, many young people believe to make the most of an event and to thoroughly enjoy themselves, they need to be intoxicated. - When songs are overplayed on the radio.
Why: Radio stations tend to play the same songs over and over because they are new songs and they are trying to get them to become more popular.
Reflection:
While doing this assignment, I found it a lot more difficult to come up with 20 things that annoyed me than I thought. I am not used to thinking about the various things in life that bug me and why they occur. This assignment allowed me to pinpoint some of the annoyances that I do face more often than I’d like and led me to start thinking about how these things could be fixed. Creating my bugs list also made me realize how optimistically I tend to view the world around me. This week I was obsessively trying to think of 20 things that bothered me in life, but found it difficult to even come up with five in one sitting. The assignment took me a lot longer than I believed it would just because I am not used to expressing all of the little, and sometimes insignificant, actions that bother me.
